Workshop outline
Working with a business is a lot like working with a body. It is a complex organism with many interrelated parts that need to move in relation to each other. We can draw on our understanding of the Feldenkrais Method and our experience of working with our own and other people’s bodies to give us some insights and strategies into working with our businesses. We don’t learn the Feldenkrais Method in a day or in a linear fashion – the same applies to business
It can be helpful to think of our Practice as a function we may wish to improve. This allows for endless possibilities and an ongoing journey of exploration and improvement. As we seek to improve the organisation of our businesses there is no one correct way to do it. We will find it much easier to explore options in small comfortable stages, learning as we go.
We know something about bodies and movement. In this workshop we will transfer some of those insights to help us understand how a business might move.
The content of the workshop will be responsive to the expressed needs of the participants but is likely to include exploration of:
- What success means to me. How am close am I to that idea? What is an aspect I could improve now to begin moving in that direction?
- Who are my ideal clients?
- What do they want, what do they need, what can they accept and what can they utilise?
- Where are they? When are they available?
- Who are my referrers or the decision makers on behalf of my clients?
- Crafting communication.
- What shape would my practice be?
- What does the FM offer us in terms of managing change?
- How can we work together?
Come along and join in the fun so you can be energised, inspired and focused on practical ways to make your practice more successful.
