Ideal for Feldenkrais Students and practitioners or anyone interested in how your body works.
- Get to know the musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology of the legs and feet
- Review your knowledge of the pelvis, hips and torso
- Understand the structure and function of the lower extremity and the relationship between the feet, legs, hips, pelvis, and back
- Learn about common painful conditions, how to avoid them and how to work with them
- Understand how the design of anatomical structures support human function
- Learn to communicate accurately and effectively using anatomical terms
- Gain mastery over 26 bones, 36 joints, 100s of ligaments and 28 essential leg and foot muscles
- Reduce wear and tear on your own anatomy
- Experience how the abstract becomes alive through Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement Lessons
This 12 hour Zoom workshop is an opportunity to discover ways to talk about, care for and empower your movement. Each class includes experiential and didactic learning opportunities and take away explorations, for the week between classes.
